概要 | High accuracy computations of optical properties for metallic nanorod arrays have been carried out. This is to explore the principle of fluorescence enhancement and quenching of molecule, and surface plasmon couplings is examined in a comparison between two finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) analyses. For further computational extensions to three dimensions, the FDTD implementation is parallelized on a supercomputer and its performance is verified.
