概要 | A facile bulk method is developed to generate monodisperse sub-femtoliter water-in-oil droplets (volumes ranging from 0.2 to 6.4 fL) at mega-scale and ultra-high speed (0.5×106 droplets per second) using immersed super-fine electrostatic inkjet technology. These droplets were used as sub-femtoliter in vitro compartmentalization (IVC) for biomolecule encapsulation and successive in vitro gene expression for ‘digitizing’ and linkage-free directed molecular evolution methodologies.
