概要	ナノ・ミクロ組織を高度に制御した金属材料において、粒界・界面からの種々の変形モードの新たな発生(核生成)をもたらす機構と、その結果生じる加工硬化能の再生機構を基礎的に明らかにした上で、異なる変形モードを順次核生成できる材料とナノ・ミクロ組織を設計し、高強度と高延性を両立した構造材料を実現します。最先端の実験手法と計算手法を駆使し、ナノスケールの変形機構とマクロスケールの力学挙動を結びつけます。
