原子分解能観察によるソフト/ハード界面の接着・破壊機構の解明

概要	軽量・高強度材料を実現する有力な方法として有機材料と無機材料の複合化があります。このような複合材料には異なる素材が接する界面(異種界面)が存在し、材料の機能に重要な役割を果たします。本研究では、最先端の電子顕微鏡計測と理論計算を用いて界面における原子・分子の配置や運動を厳密に特定し、さらに、その知見をマクロスケールでの剥離現象の観察結果に応用することで、異種界面の接着・剥離の基本原理に迫ります。
