概要	種分化とは一つの共通祖先から、枝分かれによって分化した集団が生じ、生殖隔離によって違いが維持されるに至る連続的な過程である。申請者らが確立してきた独自の野生動物の種分化連続体の研究システムを利用することで、種分化を加速化するゲノム構造としての組換え抑制領域の役割を解明する。さらに、組換え抑制領域の編集技術を開発することで、種分化を規定するゲノム構造の操作に挑む。
