概要	カロテノイドの開裂により生成するアポカロテノイドは、植物体内だけでなく生態系内でも作用する多彩な機能を有します。本研究では、アポカロテノイドの一大グループを形成し、多様な構造と機能を持つストリゴラクトンに着目します。未だ未解明である枝分かれ抑制ホルモンの化学的本体の同定をはじめとして、個別のストリゴラクトン分子が有する機能の追求を通じて、アポカロテノイドの分子機能の包括的理解を目指します。
